Well I'm in need of a little advice due to my lack of basic knowledge when it comes to cars. So here is my story...
I've been putting new wheels onto the motor which requires extended wheel studs, everything has been going fine. I've had to fit a 6mm spacer with to correct offset which means the spigot no longer mates with the wheel. I know that the spigot is used to center the wheel normally, but I think I'm ok here because the wheel nuts and the seat in the wheel have a 60 degree taper.
However I'm not sure if it is safe to allow all loading to be carried through the wheel studs. I need some advice on this before I have a potential nasty accident.
Cheers
