With the car going in in February for some serious surgery, it looks as if I may have a couple of hundred quid left in my modification budget.

So what would you folk spend it on?

The power spec as at end of work in Feb:

'96 R33 non V-spec

1.0 or 1.1 bar boost
Stage 1 Mines VX-ROM
Steel internal R33 turbos
A'PEXi induction
HKS downpipes
HKS Dual Drager exhaust
HKS metal head gasket, Trust metal intake & throttle gaskets.

Other bits:

18x10's with 265x35 y rated tyres, HKS Superform springs.

I'm looking for response & minimal lag, not necessarily involving more horses. Alternatively, tweaks that improve the reliability and /or handling are welcome.

So far, I have three options, one at the top of my remaining budget, one possibly over budget, and one little tweak.

High flow turbo elbows.
Reprofiled camshafts.
Hard pipe kit.

Any input or alternatives would be appreciated.

Ta.

make sure you buy some Iridium spark plugs, HKS, Greddy etc, obviously as far as I am concerned, HKS ones are the ones to have;) Get the Racing PRO plugs, not just normal iridiums but they cost £26+vat each instead of £14.50 +vat each.

We have them on the shelf of course 01795 668899

Finally cleared the haze enough to read your post fully. :D

An the time shall come to pass, where I buy thee a hard pipe kit. That time shall be just after thee is buying me an intercooler.
