Hi guys, in regards to the previous post on the pinging issue i had, the mechanics reckons its due to the air flow meter adaptor that is not suitable for its size...I have a K&N air filter and had to drill holes into the adaptor for it to fit onto the AFM...

They have informed me:
* I will have air flow restrictions
* AFM won't read correctly on how much fuel is going in etc.
* And that also i might need to get a bigger "air filter", but i thought i just need to replace the adaptor...

ANYWAYZ, are these listed consequences of having a non-suitable adaptor correct????

Well there is a defference between series 1 and 2 AFM.

If i remeber I'll hook my one out tonight to get the part number off it so you can check. Unless someone else can as I'm going to be very busy tonight picking a new Skyline for Jules.
