Anyone know how to stop that annoying "BEEP BEEP BEEP" sound when I leave my keys in the ignition, but want to leave my door open so I can have the radio on while I work on the car?

ITS PI$$ING ME OFF NO-END!

thanks ;)

But just don't forget to plug it back in as these things are damned hard to bumpstart with a dead battery. Strange nobody saw i'd left my lights on all day

Ah, of course it could be different on a 32...

cheers

for the info guys! I like the window option! Would disconnecting the buzzer drain the battery? I can't see why?

disconnecting the buzzer only runs the battery down if you also leave the lights on and theres no buzzer to tell you to switch them off:D

if you work out a quick way of disconnecting the buzzer eg a fuse etc let me know cause it does my head in too

think i will

install a small discret switch to temp disable it if I cant find a fuse.

I am sure I read on a NZ forum that you could remove a fuse?

Switch would be a good idea tho...

Reason for working on the car is prepping for an audio install. Should sound sweet!

Check these guys out! They are VERY cheap, and del. is spot on (normally 2 days)
