some people are stating its cheaper to insure a r33 gtr than a gtst? can mabey see why as awd might be classed as safer but still surely not

I have heard this before myself, but until I actually get a quote myself I think it's nonsense. It's the same way some people say that insuring an n/a is more expensive, it's not.

all skylines are group 20 it doesn't matter if turbo or not, or even gtr -gts it depends on the company you use Adrian Flux are £20 dearer for a gtr over a gts-t and £20 less for a non-turbo:gay::cheers:

I can give you examples. I insured a non turbo for £300 fully comp, and a gtst for £500 fully comp (both all mods declared).

I reckon you got lucky there, most insurance companies class all Skylines as group 20 high risk.

Well with adrian flux it was cheaper for me to insure a GTR than a GTS-T, cant tell you exact figures (it was nearly a year ago!) but it was definately cheaper!

Sounds like tosh to me. Ive always been told they are group 20 - Insurance companies change their criteria day by day - especially Adrian Flux!!!

It's definitely true IF the R33 GTR in question is a V-Spec. The UK spec GTR's are cheaper to insure than an imported GTS25t. Trust me, I checked (after buying my GTSt thinking it would be cheaper on insurance )
