I actually fitted it at the start of the week, withouth the aid of an angle grinder. result was i had to ditch the air con fan and it was in the wrong place to suport the bonnet lock.

Now that ive cut off the center section of bumper iron and moved it forward slightly everything fits on ok.

I realise the bummper is no work of art but it will do for now.

car seems to run much better now the tiny wing mount intercooler is out of the loop. once the nonails holding the number plate on sets ill take it for a propper thrash and reset the boost, as its jumped from 11 psi up to 14:eek:

looks fine,
But so much pipework, I still don't get why more of you don't mod your plenum's to front inlet, the car feels and IS much nicer to drive with that meter of pipework removed.
And more economical.
Andy.
I like that idea, who does the Greddy inlet plenums on here? :smoker:

Moogle there 60 mm same as the ome pipe work it joins up to. so just a tad under 2.5"

the front facing plenum's are lovley, but they aint cheap. this was £150 plus postage form the second hand parts section on here. I waited ages to find one with the return pipe across the bottom instead of over the engine.

Im really pleased with it for the price...cheers Dan

reason i ask is because i have the same intercooler and i'm looking for some new couplers,

since the car is at the bodyshop i couldnt measure it so yea...

so 2.5" couplers should work you think?

Andy your right about the length of the pipework. Just fitted a Greddy type manifold, but having the ARC intercooler made the pipe route a bit tricky. Just a few bends added.

one of my pipes didnt fit just right so i needed some new "coupler" couldnt find the size i wanted in sillicon so i went to a local power pipe specialist( hydraulics and such) and bought a length of 60 mm internal bore pipe,,,its rated to 5 bar and 100 degrese c.

if your really stuck let me know and ill let u have what i have left ,about 60 cm worth... more than enough to replace all your pipe joints.... this is top quality industrial stuff.

The pipes are just standard 60mm, unless you want to change the x-over pipe then its 70mm at the throttle body and 70mm to 60mm from the x-over to the boost pipe.
Although i have just managed to squeeze a 60mm pipe over the throttle body.

Pirtek do the silicon hoses if your stuck, but any motorsports supplier should have it.
