How`s it goin guy`s and gal`s.
quick question for ye.whats the best oil for a rb20det?i put 5W50 socalled performance oil in about 1000 km`s ago and it doesn`t seem the healthiest.can ne one tell me what would be best to put in before i blowup my pride and joy?

i use silkolene15w50. was told by a number of people it was worth putting in.

think about the driving conditions u will put yer car in. if its spirited riving, xW50 works great for hot engines. xW30 or xW40 good for the weekend warriors or yer everyday driving. remmeber, its winter now, so get a 5W for those cold starts

Depends on the mods and use of the car, 5w-40 synthetic to 15w-50 with 10w-50 in the middle.

We tend to recomend the ester based Silkolene Pro S or the Motul 300v http://www.opieoils.co.uk and we can ship to Dublin if you cannot pick it up locally.
