Hi,
I have just installed a Blitz Power Meter iD, but when I try to calibrate the speed at 25mph, it says 'calibration error!', but If I calibrate it in kph when the speedo reads 40mph it works, although the units are then wrong!

According to the instructions the speed signal should be taken before the kph/mph convertor, but I don't know where this is.

Has anyone any ideas where this is so I can wire the power meter to it. The car is a 94 R33 gts-t.

Thanks.

Good luck mate! I bought one at the start of the year when they first came out. NO-ONE knew how to set it up properly, including every BLITZ retailer/service place in the uk.

Ended up sending it back :(

Thanks for the info. It is working (kind of), but I think the speed converter/delimiter is confusing it. If I can wire the power meter in before this it should work according to the instructions.

Will have another go tomorrow and report back.

Problem Solved

By splicing into the yellow wire going into the speed convertor chip, it works fine now.

273bhp, not bad for a GTS25T. Now i'm off to try out some 0-60 times!
