Hi guys, having just bought a 2nd hand R-VIT, i thought i'd pop out to hook it up to my R32 GTS-t - trouble is i can't find the spare connector i was told should be sitting next to the ECU in the footwell. There is only one spare block and it is too long for the connector i have.

Anyone have any experience of fitting these???

Nice one - found it!!!!

Next problem is that it says "error no response, press any key" - and guess what, i press a key but it doesn't make any difference.

any clues?????

Hi,

So you have a standard ECU? The R Vit will only work with the Consult interface which is only powered when the standard ECU is fitted.

If you have a standard ECU, I think that there are settings on the controller for com ports. You can download the instructions from Nengun.com

Yeah it's a standard ECU and I have plugged in to the diagnostic port by the fuses - i'll run a meter across the cconnecctions and see if it working - fingers crossed or it will be back up for sale

I had one on my r33 for a while, it did occasionally throw up that message, and sometime pressing a key would clear it, although simetimes it would just hang altogether
