hi there,
i have full recirc on the excess boost pressure and so i am thinking of fitting a dual port B.O.V......( Half vent to atmosphere...half re-circ)
anybody got ideas of a preferred type...(TURBOSMART are looking good)

thanks

I was looking at the turbosmart megasonic. :D never heard of anyone with it though.... meant to be very loud....

Oh, the dual port one is meant to be really quiet...

some ppl have stalling issues with bov that vents to atmo, but some don't
dunno about dual port, it sure makes sense to me
i'll stick with the standard bov and upgrade to HKS ssqv with recirc kit when i get me a bigger tubby

For performance bennifits and reliabilty you wil not beat the standard GTS-T dump valve upto 400bhp or 1.4bar.

When I first got my car I had stalling problems, I had the recirc and the bov in place at the time. Since removing the recirc and using only the bov The car idles lovely no hunting for an idle and no stalling in traffic or when pulling up at a junction. Blank the recirc off ( i used a piece of metal from a beer can) worked a treat.
