will a boost leak make the car run rich or lean?
im presuming rich as the afm has seen the air and told the ecu to put relevant fuel in,so you have lost some of the air but none of the fuel,is that right?

yep mate overfuels to be sure you dont kill the engine.

Thought so,i was just reading a post and someone was saying that they had a boost leak and was subsequently running lean (was an old post,cant find it again though Doh)i thought it was a bit odd running lean with a leak but turned out his AFM was buggered also

afm buggered causes lean running as thats what happened to mine mate only found out after caning the arse of it for 2 weeks lol, but too much air and the ecu goes into overfuel mode so to speak.
