Jst resantly fitted an ebc to my car taken the car up and dwn the road but now the boost seems to hold back or sumthin or feels like its not kicking in as quick only runnin 0.7 on the 1st mode for normal driving and 0.9 on my 2nd mode is it to do with the boost gain settings

Wat ebc you using mate
It's a depo racing boost controller I put the foot dwn and the turbo holds back or sumthin had my gain around 45 at 0 .7 bar prob gain needs 2go up more than that??

I had same sort of problem with my greddy, took ages to get it right, it still drops off at high revs, if your shore its installed right/ no leaks it's a case of seat time and tweaks

Yeah sounds like the same prob I'm havin prob hav 2play with it a bit more deff dnt think thiers a boost leak anywhere

Gain is pretty much what determines how fast your turbo builds up boost. Set it too high and it you will overboost higher up the rev range.

Best thing to do is set your target boost to what you want, say its 0.8bar leave the gain at 0

Once you have the boost running at 0.8bar, you can start messing with the gain to get it to come in quicker.

Youl then need to take the car for a run in a reasonably high load gear (3rd gear is pretty good for this to get a good idea from) and take the car from 4k to say 6k rpm, keep checking that you don't go over your 0.8bar limit, if it starts to go over 0.8bar youl need to lower the gain setting as your experiencing overboost.

hope that makes a bit of sense mate, its the easiest way I could think to explain it :)

ImageUploadedByTapatalk1364025093.458528.jpg bro in law plumbed the solenoid in 4 me but the port facing in the pic when u zoom in with the pipe with the filter on it is goin 2the out port on the solenoid is it plumbed in wrong I think this could b my prob
