You can pick up gasket paper from ebay for about 2 quid. I used some on my AAC valve, does the job nicely.

i had an oldtube of red nissan gasket which worked fine for me...
mind you that nissan gasket costs a bomb but worth every penny.
I think approx £25 a tube from main dealer but has many uses
