Since i got the car the btakes have always felt a bit odd. The brake pedal feels hard like its been pumped but you have to apply more pressure than you would expect to get the car to brake, could this be a servo issue or a problem with the pipes or the brake fluod etc?

Could be there is a leak in the vacuum from the plenum to the servo, or the one way valve is not functioning correctly, unless somebody has previously adjusted the pedal to master cylinder to compensate for a worn clutch and then had a replacement clutch without readjusting its unlikely to need any adjustment.

For the clutch? Do the brake and clutch pedal use the same servo? I shall take it to a garage with your possible suggestions and see what they say, thanks for the possibilities :) the brakes do still work by the way just takes a fair bit of pressure and the pedal doesnt feel like it moves very far when you do, as if its pumped
