right , I've fitted k sport 8 pots on the front and 6 pots on the rear racing pads fitted front and back ,so why arent the rear brakes working ,I've bled them theres no air. surely they would have cut the discs and bed in , i've done 150 miles and still the discs are not even touched......

1. is it the fact that the rear is 6 pot now and the pressure to the back has altered and need to change the set up
2. or and i completely missing something

3 I'm p##sed off with bleeding the brakes and scratching my ed

4. sometimes I get p##sed off with my car

5 . someone help please

thanks

rears do take longer to bed in than the front mate and also with the size of front brakes and giving that braking is a 70-30 split then i reckon the rears will take longer :) and have you swapped the front discs round yet::rofl:

if stuck ill look at your car :)

yes i've swapped the discs :eek7: but the rears discs still after 150 miles havent rubbed at all the machineing is still visable, do i need to change the braking ratios
i presume the pads are free in the calipers mate and not sticking at all??

one way of ensuring that you know the rear brakes are working is clamping off the front flexis and driving down the road and press the brake and you shopulkd feel the rear brakes slowing you sown but dont press too hard mate :)

or going to an mot station and asking nicely if they can check the rear brakes on the brake testeer :)

the rear brakes work but the pressure applied isnt enough to lock them so i was thinking because the calipers are a lot bigger I've altered the bias ratio having more fluid to push

you actually dont have more fluid to push but that shouldnt matter mate just give them some hard driving and hard braking and see what happens :)
take them off shed , give them to me and i will bed em in lol
you aint altered the ratio as thats set by the master cylinder

i have the same setup on mine and i dont have any issues.

anyone who says your rears are too big is talking poo poo as alcons upgrade for the 35 uses the same size discs all round with slightly smaller rear calipers and there was also a mag feature with a silver 34 gtr that had the same brakes front and back and that was driven by the nissan test driver and he just said the back suspention was bit too hard.
if the disc still has the machined marks still there after 150 miles it sounds like the pistons are stuck or not moving freely enough to make contact with the disc.
you may find that although you have bled the rears there could still be an airlock half way down the pipes going to the master servo. i had this prob on an old car and i had to basically keep bleeding the back and catching the fluid squirting out in a clean tub to save wasting it.
