Just been to the petrol station and all of a sudden I can here a hissing noise, so opened the bonnet to see a nice stream of hot water coming out of this hose:

So my questions are:

What is it?
What does it do?
And Where can I get a new one?

unsure what it is but some garden hose should do as a band aid till you can find a better quality one

Haha, thanks for that ingenious temporary solution - although im sure my dad wont appreciate me cutting his garden hose up :rofl:

As you mentioned in your post, just a route for some coolant. Just pick up a replacement in that size at the local parts store. They carry heater hoses in a wide variety of sizes. Just pop it off, take it with you, fit the part, and then top off the coolant. =)

Don't do anything fancy and buy some "Nissan OEM!!" part worth a fortune, it is just an easy, cheap fix and it will work.

just realised what it is its a turbo coolant line , as above dont buy nissan part
