I'm sick of buying things that are supposed to fit, for example, parts for the R33 or MX-5. But when it comes to fitting the ****ing things are no where near Aaarrrrrggggghhhhhhhh!!!!

Wheel boss for the MX, all wrong!
First GTR grill I bought, isnt a gtr grill!
400r rear arches for a GTS that will only fit GTR arches, thanks KR!
Wrong harnesses set for the R33.

And today I went to fit my Corbeau Forza seat and the bloody thing sits too close to the door and I've no more adjustment!!! The seat frame can't be drilled further in because the runner is in the way. Very Annoyed!

I know exactly what you mean.....every "simple, little job" seems to take 5 times as long and I have to end up trying to bodge it to fit.

But isn't that part of modifying? :)

I wouldn't have said buying things that are advertised as fitting, but don't, as being all part of modifying. Just shite sellers.

yep and when you ring em they bullshit you into trying to make out its how you are trying to fit em. im in the process of grafting some KR 400 side skirts that are 1" too short in length, so i get the fibreglass out and stretch em to find that when i offer them up they are 1" up the door.
you would think they would get the mould right to save all the slating by there customers

I know this feeling - bought a cas cover off eBay last week, didn't want the polished stainless finish, so spent a couple of hours painting it white - turns out that it doesn't fit.
My cas doesnt have the right cas sensor! My fault as i should of checked the cas to make sure it was right. So now a dillema of what to do with it.

In the tuning game there is a whole industry that knowingly supplies you with parts that everyone other than you knows will not fit, you either take too long to get round to it or damage the item in some way trying to fit it...you then either sell it to someone else or just accept the loss or fit it to the car and accept that it looks ****/is dangerous.

98% of the standard car you have right now and all of the parts that make it up are far far better than anything a tuner/bodyshop will sell you, its just that people don't see it that way until its too late.
