I'm desperately trying to save cash on general maintenance, so I can save up for a nice straight through exhaust.:D

Has anyone out there ever changed a cambelt on a RB25DET. If so how long did it take roughly, how much did you pay for the belt, is there a precise order to take the parts off AND will I require any special tools?

Pictures of work, volunteers and prayers are also welcome.

Arse because I need to ask these questions in the first place.

I've changed cam belts before, but that was with the help of a Haynes manual .... and as you probably know they don't exist for skylines.

Saying that I have seen a engine manual advertised on the net for some stupid amount of cash.

cheers for the help anyway, the jury is still out on doing it myself.
