In the not to distant future i'm gonna be looking at fitting a set of cams, question is, is it as simple as buying a set of cams and pulleys, fitting, resetting the timing and away i go.

Or would i need to have a bit of remapping done...my trouble is i'm on a budget and would really like to add all the bits i want to the engine then go for a decent mapping session once all other engine mods are done...any advice is mucho appreaciated..:D

You could just fit the cams without mapping the car, how well it will run will depend on what spec of cams you fit, but the car will always be better if the car can be mapped to suit the cams new requirements. If you have std mapping, the cars run on the rich side anyway so you would be ok untill you can get the car reprogrammed providing you have not fitted Wild/Race profiles.
