This has to be one of the most annoying problems i ever had with a car. My car keeps cutting out when i'm slowing down to a complete stop. If i clutch and brake it cuts out, if i put it into neutral before stopping it without 'clutching' it still cuts out. I can keep it running by giving it a bit of throttle just before it stops.

The only mods i made before it started doing this were a new boost gauge and a new blitz bov.....they were in it for a week or two before it started doing this.

I checked for leaks in the vacuum and boost pipes.


Anyone got any ideas what could be causing this?? Any help appreciated!!

Not since i replaced the afm.

It is probably down to your BOV.

It was grand for the first week or two

Remove the BOV or fit an HKS eids maybes.

Ok well the idle stabiliser is a bit out of my price range at the moment so looks like i'll have to get rid of the bov :disappointed:

stock bov is the best option

what did you use to block off the recirv pipe? maybe thats come loose and allowing air out etc
