Not a Chrome Dish Refurb.

Guys,

as you can see by the picture below i have dished rims with a chrome wall/dish.

Can these be refurbed as they are looking quite skanky and have a few curb marks?

Cheers

Amos

well i would clay bar it first to make sure you wont put extra scratches on from bonded on grit, then use a metal polish and see what happens, ive used, brasso, autosol, stainless steel 3m polish, wonderwheels, and various brass and bronze polishes, theyve all given a good finish on alloys
you have to keep up on the waxing afterwards to stop crap eating into the alloys and make them tarnished again

Ah right. Ok so......

1 clean the wheels to within an inch of their life.
2 use paint stripper on laquer to remove
3 get some brasso and spend long hours polishing (use my w&nking arm for that....lol)
4 cover with a layer of laquer to protect from shite on road.

or

by a new set of rims.

Hmmmmm. Wheel and tyre packages are so cheap now.
