Does anyone know if its possible to remove the clear plastic lens from the headlight? 1 of mine is a new headlight & the other 1 is well grubby inside. Its also got a small hole or crack somewhere & keeps misting up.
What i wanna do is remove the outer cover clean it all & seal it back on.
Does anyone know if it can be done? Without removing the headlight if possible.

You will find some methods of lense removal on some old threads.
From what i remember you may have to stick the whole headlamp in the oven for a few minutes to soften the sealant.

Have you tried T-cut on it? I did on mine and they come up really grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat, sorry must have been a frosties ad on then!

Look on the bright side

Obviousley the headlamp will be hot when it comes out of the oven so, you will be sweating, hence earned yourself a beer to cool down!
proper logic that is

Is the dirt definately on the inside?, mine was on the outside

Now that sounds like a good idea. Off to the oven now to knock up a quick sponge.
