But think of the money saved and the satisfaction. I've done loads of crap, long jobs on cars before (try doing an mr2 clutch and cambelt) and felt like giving up but always felt good about doing it afterwards. Keep going it will be worth it.
Done mine on my drive with the front wheels up on 3 6" blocks each side under the wheels.
The box is heavy and needs to be twisted to get it off/on the engine for clearance purpoes which is about the trickiest bit i found.
Done my clutch in about 4 hours but that included changing the gearbox oil but undoing the gearbox oil drain and top up plugs probably took longest time of all!
