how hard is it to change the clutch on a r33 gtst?
i had a nissan one put on about 15000 miles ago if that and its been going for the last year but now its not great and needs changing.
also if my cam cover gasket was leaking would this bugger my clutch as oil would get on the plate and would this wear off if i stopped the oil leak?

also how long would a paddle clutch last is i was using it right?

Clutch should take about 1 1/2 to 2 hours to change bud.

Cant see the rocker cover leaking would cause it to go.

As for which clutch i've had the Excedy R32 GTR organic clutch for over 3 years running 400+bhp and its still going strong touch wood.

your clutch is pretty well sealed between the engine and box and the only oil that could get to it is if the crankshaft oil seal is buggered as it sits behind the flywheel, so i dont think the cam leaking will affect it mate and not sure about the paddle clutch as not fitted mine and wont until i sort my gearbox.:dogpile:

paddle clutches are ok but not in stop start traffic IMO

see the problem is i don't really know what power i want but it will be 400bhp or more but its a daily road car and doesn't see any track work yet although maybe one day.
