Mine running "car plan" stuff £1.00 for 2l of concentrate (bargain price as the local co-op is closing down to become waitrose ;) )

as above anti freeze is anti freeze :) i use carplan stuff as well 5 years no problems now :)
I thought blue/red/green all have different compounds, and some can damage your water pump over time due to the chemical formual structure of them.

Etholine glycol
Mono etholine glycol
and OAT (or what ever it is)

id strongly suggest alot of you go and read up about those terms as it would not suprise me if alot of you have had to change thermostates & water pumps in the past 4 years!

MOTUL INUGEL OPTIMAL is based on monoethyleneglycol, using organic additives (AOT / OAT) and shouldn't be mixed with non-organic anti-freeze / coolant.

Is this good then for nissans radiators ???
you shoudl change your pump and thermostat around four years anyway to prevent failiure

good advise Ian. I want to go for a bigger power but before that want to change all the old bits to make it reliable ...

The difference in colour could be due to addition of a post production dye.

Yes, I'd agree you should NOT mix coolants :)

Coincidently I change my coolant twice a YEAR! Once for a summer mix another for a winter mix (lower freezing point)

also its worth buying reddy mix (down my way anyway!) because of all the chalk in the water that can scale up the coolant system
I knew someone once that did a little experiment with mixing coolants red and green when he was a apprentice for a project at uni do you now what happened?????

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!!!
