Is there a pickup point somewhere on an R33 2.5 GTSt cylinder head where you can plumb in an oil pressure gauge to make sure that the oil is getting to the head?

The engine in question has good oil pressure but the top end is very noisy and doesn't seem to be getting enough oil. Need to verify what oil pressure is actually getting to the head in the first place if possible - but can't see where, if anywhere, to plug a gauge into the head.

Help! :)

Well if you´re getting tapping noise from cylinder head it´s probably your hydraulic valve lifters. I very much doubt that there´s not enough oil getting to the head. If you didn´t work on the head and block any oil channels there really is no reason for. Check other stuff first before installing unneccessary things. As for first quick shot take a screwdriver, use as stethoscope (spelling?) and listen to the head, try finding out where the noise comes from exactly!
