I did a search and found a relevant thread but it was left unanswered.

Basically are the rear diffs on the spec 1 and spec 2 r33 gtst's the same?
im talking about manual,non abs equipped cars btw

I would of thought they were the same, although I think Genuine Type-M's are tighter.

I.e they tend to not spin 1 wheel so easy, so i'm guessing they run a thicker shim as std.

Yeah i would have thought so too, im supposed to be getting a diff from an n reg spec 2, to shim up, so just wanted to make sure before i went to collect it
