i eventually would like to attempt to import an 99 r34 into America. But what is the difference between the GTR and the GTT.

there are variants on the GTT, but basically put thats the main difference. do a search as there have been many questions on this already.

Yep, from what I've read elsewhere, not worth it, wait a bit and buy yourself the new Nissan GTR, it will be cheaper than trying to get an R34 legal, really .... ton's of posts on the subject over on the GTROC.

And if you need four seats, start with an Infiniti G35 and add a couple of turbos - plenty of performance is possible and your steering wheel will be on the correct side.
