Can anybody identify what kinda of diff I have in my R34 please? I believe it started life as a 2.5 non turbo automatic now running 2.5 turbo manual.
I can't seem to find any diff online with these types of cups?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks guys

That looks the same as mine which also started life as an R34 GT Auto and still has the standard diff. The VIN plate inside the engine bay on mine states the diff is RC40 which is something like 4.089:1. Unless someone's changed the innards I guess you'd still have what's stamped on your VIN plate. Bit of a discussion here

Figured out that my car was originally 2.0 non turbo automatic! The diff I'm running therefore is the RC43 type! I believe this is viscous LSD? From picture that I can see it looks longer and narrower than an R33 gtst LSD? Is this just because the gtst diff would be bigger to hold the bigger power? I don't wanna fork out the cost of an LSD only to find it won't fit my car! Any help again would be appreciated guys thanks

The way I understand it is that if your 18th digit is 'G' for example then you've got everything with a dot in that row i.e.

Side Airbags, Viscous LSD, Rear Centre 3-Point Seatbelt

Or if your 18th digit is 'B' then you've got the Viscous LSD but not the other two things.
