over winter im thinking about doing a conversion. well more than thinking almost defiantly.

obv call would be an rb25.
does anyone have any guides or links? as my comp was wiped and i carnt find the link i had when doing the searchs on here. (infact has a lot of old stuff been deleted?)
i dont fancy doing the rb26 with the removing front drive.

but what i havnt found much on is rb30. were these rwd? would thye be alot harder conversion than rb25 and also what the standard power of these?

cheers

There's some good info on the Skylines Australia site about doing the 25 swap, someone done a rough write up I think.

The RB30 swap is slightly different from switching engines. The block itself comes from the non-turbo RB30 that was factory fitted into the Holden Commodore. It's then mated to a Skyline head, either a 25 or 26, although one of the most common and easy fits is the non-turbo 25 head.
I think it's possible to retain 4wd on these if you want it.

Someone in the projects section is doing a 26 into a 32. I imagine it wouldn't be the hardest swap, since you can use the 32 GTR loom.
Overall a 25 would be the most wallet friendly option.
