i live in orange county, CA and i have someone that is wanting to trade a 95 r33 GTS-T for my subaru and after the mishap with Kaizo, i am having second thoughts. He said the importer was Inrex, which is still up and running (http://www.inrex-auto.jp/). He also claimed that he has never had a problem and that all i need is a "VIN application form" (or something like that) to be able to have it fully registered. I don't know what to do. I would love to own a skyline but at the same time, i dont want to risk losing it. So, in short:

-anyone have info on Inrex Co.?
-any other info would be great!

hey F UR pony: Find out if this car is already registered and has a legit title. If you decide to buy it, register it outside of Cali. You shouldnt have any problems. I lived in California for 3 years, 2 of which, I had a skyline there with me, which I still own. I never had a problem and i was pulled over a few times. Mostly the cops just wanted to see it because they thought it was cool, another a cop in a Charger wanted to race to see what it had (probably a set up) and the other was a ticket....my busy LOL. If you cant get it registered out of state, I wouldnt go for it because you will be busting your balls to get the smog release from Cali. What year is your subie?
