Bud, where you were standing used to be Duke of Yorks HQ, was there with the London Irish, and lived just behind as a kid at Royal Hospital. Kings Road cruises used to be amazing. I remember the american night being fantastic, Chevy, corvettes and mustangs a plenty plus more harleys and indians than you can shake a stick at.

I saw him (or should I say heard) arriving then stopped right in front of me on the double yellow line. He switched the engine off, walked away to grab a coffee (not even locked the car)... I waited about 10min until he drove off again, the thing was grawling, worth the wait
