Thanks to Knight Racer and my credit card, I received my carbon fibre bootlid yesterday, I've ordered a carbon spoiler and obviously need to drill into the bootlid to attatch the little bugger.

How easy is it to do? I'm scared it'll crack and split. Any tips or is it a steady hand and a Dremel all the way?

Well I have not done this but 2 of my friends have and theres turn out fine doing it the way you have said.

Although too stop the drill bit from moving and scatching your lovely new bonnet maybe put some tape on where you are going to drill just to keep it in place

as above just put a bit of masking tape where you are going to drill the holes, and take it easy, you will get the idea of what it's like doing the first hole

Ive done this,

Just what the other guys have said, a dremmel, lotsof time and a steady hand.

Cut out templates of the base of the spoiler where it attaches to the boot in masking tap and you can make fairly sure everything lines up perfectly before you go drilling holes.
