look good ,pity not for android

free apps like this on android apps thou :D
I have it on mine tis actually quite good but not sure how accurate it is because my most bhp was 265 bhp lol most of them were like 200 with a quater mile of like 19 seconds haha tis good enough fun tho
g-tac is better and free, with dynolicious you have to calibrate itor you wont get an accurate reading, with g-tac you have no need for calibration, you dont get hp with g-tac free but you get the other 0-60,quarter mile etc,for nokia and simbian there is racechrono
I've got a few dyne apps, dynoliscious is good but I prefer pocketdyno- both have been bang on within a few bhp compared to real dyno
i used pocket dyno and its pretty accurate in 0-60 & bhp
bought this yesterday...not too bad tbh..used it today in the audi

had a quick run (unfortunately slightly uphill but it was just to get an idea of how it works),you have to input your cars weight and drivetrain loss etc,,,the book states 1570kgs for manual (so 1670 with my 100kgs)and after a lot of searching i found the quattro system is 22.8% drivetrain loss so i inputted 23%,also i have a very good secure mount, now i have run 13.8 quarter at york raceway ,so here is the graph,,,you also get a list of data such as bhp figure (which is supposedly within 3bhp) and 0-10 0-20 0-30 all the way up to whatever you run to amongst other stats from the run,you also get an average of all runs, heres roughly what it is BunsenTech and here are the cool graphs you get for each run...i think its worth £8

so does any one know what the drivetrain loss would be on a R34 GTT i been looking on the net but cant find anything
about 15-18% for manual,1000000% auto lol..

no,honestly about 20-25% for auto
i just downloaded the g-tac to my iphone shame my cars off the road at the mo guess ill be testing the 0-60 time of my van tomorow, have you seen the paid version of g-tac its quite expensive at about 13 quid but its got data lapping for all diffrent circuits around the world would be a bargain if it works well
i have g-tac too (free version),not as good as dynolicious as its not as accurate, you dont have to calibrate it etc and it dont give hp reading, excellent for free though

Surely not that much?

I figured on a GTR it was around 15% maybe? When i run my car in RWD i made a extra 40 Bhp so i figure a GTST / GTT would maybe be around 7-8 % ?

If im wrong then my car is making a lot more power than i thought it was. What would you say 600 bhp @ the wheels would be then on a GTR? i figured around 650 BHP but if i use a loss off 20% than that means i have 720 ish BHP?

To be honest i dont see the point of working out engine power, simply use the wheel power as that is a true figure of what BHP the car is putting out on the road.
ill get the dynolitious one as well but might as well wait till my car is back on the road

u said 15 to 18 % for a gtt will it make alot of diffrence if im 1 or 2 % out
matty i have no idea bud but thats the general idea that i got from searching google about 5 pages through, and Higgs again,no idea bud but if you input 0% you get wheel hp not fly apparently

That is why I use the PocketDyno + app as it ignores the drivetrain losses and only reports WHP.

My GTST looses approx 13% 360 @ engine and 315 @wheels

just enter 0% to dynolicious and you get wheel hp
well i know my gtt made 289 at the wheels so b interesting 2 see how close it is

obviously there will be variations such as ambient temps, differences in fuel, extra mods (if any) and road conditions but it should be within 5 bhp i would have thought...deffo update this thread when you do buddy :)
be a while as my cars off the road till spring next year but ill deff update it
just changed mine to 0% and it changes the hp to wheel hp,now showing 220 at the wheels, thats from 283 which i got for the fly but.............i missed a calibration where you have to put the phone on a flat serfice, then upside down etc etc etc..will have another play tomorrow and see if its any different
