It really ****ing pisses me off when you bid on something and win the auction for a good price and then lo and behold, you get a message from the seller saying that the item 'sold last night' off of eBay.

If you don't like the price it sold for, put a ****ing reserve you twat!

Or they end the item early saying there was an error in the listing and list the exact same item with no changes
Done that recently - had a buyer outside of eBay so removed the item so nobody on eBay hit buy it now and was disappointed. Buyer fell through so had to relist. So can be because of genuine reasons, although not sure I used error in listing reason :)

I'm running all my stuff as buy it nows though so not removing them when the auction doesn't go high enough or anything like that :)

Haha, this was a private seller actually.

Although I have experienced the same thing with the above company too.

Oh yeah did notice those *******s doing that. Was looking at a fuel rail as I just wanted the parts from the kit and it was on an auction listing, but they kept finishing the listing early and then re-listing. Pain in the ass

I know where you are coming from as do many SO.Com users, tooo many people not happy selling items at low prices, but they still list them with a low starting price and no reserve... Clearly you are not willing to let it go for that price, why would you.... but ending it in the last 24 hours is stupid.

90% of ebayers know the winning buyer bids in the last 5 minutes.... a 7 or even 5 day auction is pointless, so is having no reserve if you WILL NOT accept the value it's sold for.

2 fast 2 cool by any chance ?
You mean Japspeed..... they are like Knight Racer(Multiple trading styles on ebay)

Japspeed own them but don't control them so they can't be blamed for there actions
Really? The same registered address?

Franchise Ross
Nope.... it's all just a big "con" it's the same trading activity / style employed by many small companies out there, anyone that thinks different is either "in the pocket" or oblivious to this approach of business conduct.

Because it's someone else's franchise
Afraid NOT

My exhaust was brought through 2 fast 2 cool and is branded Japspeed, same shite quality and fitment lol
FACT ! True story!

I do like how it's Moderators and Admin members that are defending said traders though, eBay or through the forum....

Coincidence perhaps? Hey don't shoot the messenger I'm just showing how easy it would be to join the dots!
