Ive been looking at the ebc website and it doesn't show r33 gts-t front brake discs. Do they do them or is there any other ones that will fit.

There for a friend of mine i ordered the ebc grooved discs today for him for 280 euro including shipping from www.ebcbrakesdirect.com so wasnt too bad mind you they wanted 161 euros for 2 redstuff brake pads which i thought was a bit steep so think ill just get them in the local motor factors. Got 300zx ones there for mine and did the job cheaper option !! Thanks for all the replies.

They did change the compound on the redstuff pads over a period of time, hence some think there crap others they work fine for.

I use them on the front- redstuff ceramic's and they are spot on. Can scrub the speed off really well on the motorways.:D

I thought they were fine until I switched to Ferodo's :D
Ditto for me..but not with EBC discs which are poor enough to make any pad appear crap. DBA's are heaps better and not much more to buy.

I've been looking for pads lately & Fasteronline are £115 for both front & rears (Redstuff) for a R32 GTR.
EBC's own website are quoting around £208 for the same.

Am I missing something here ?

Got the EBC discs, (model GD1226) dropped them to the mechanic for my mate and he's after ringing me now saying that the discs dont fit cause there 8 - 10 mm too thick cant believe it. You try to do a lad a favour and it always goes wrong. Can they be made fit ? mechanic says there rubbing somewhere haven't seen them so dont know where.

This is what happens when you buy discs from someone who only thinks they know what they're doing.

There are several different thicknesses of discs for the Skyline, and when permed with the various sizes of disc for different models and series, it's a minefield for the self proclaimed experts. Obviously this would not happen if purchasing from a real Skyline specialist, but it may cost a little more in the first instance..

How'd that happen then? Did he push the brake pistons fully in once the old set were out?

I went to a local parts place told them the year and make of skyline (1994 R33), disc size-296mm- i think they are. They fitted like a glove no probs at all....... Must have bought GTR ones no?
