Can one you of bright and knowledgeable people tell me if the ecu earths through the wiring or through the main body of the ecu to the car?

Through the wiring mate. I don't recall any part of the board making contact with the case for it to act as an earth.

Can you remember the problem I had before with the revs jumping up and down?
It's started doing it again, it was cured the last time in a fit of rage by banging the ecu lol
Well that no longer works and the car is now just turning and turning unless I put pressure on the loom/ecu then it starts to try to fire.
So I bought a new ecu and fitted it yesterday and no difference.
Thought maybe it wasn't earthing correct or maybe it's the loom itself

It will be the terminal contacts that have been forced apart slightly so need squeezed together
