Give RSP or Autosaurus a shout. They both do the Gizzmo controllers.

which controllers better?

I dont know wich is better but i have a profec2 on mine and its been faulty from day one. I too was looking at the gizmos and only hear good things about them to be honest. Im thinking of ditching the profec and getting a gizmo as they seem pretty well priced aswell.

I'm the same, although my greddy works fine. I'd go for the gizmo which can do closed-loop control (greddy just does open loop).

Best one is APEXi AVC-R no doubt. If you wanna know why, do a search I've posted millions of times about that.

Gizmo is very good though and cheaper too. Depends on you and your budget.

Any advice on HKS EVC's ?
Some say use them , Others say stay well clear.
I've been offered one very cheap for my stagea...

They're good but not the best you can have. And certainly not the best value for money that's for sure. If you're an HKS whore get it, will do its job no probs. There other controllers, some of them even cheaper, that are way better though. APEXi AVC-R, Gizmo, etc

When i say cheap , I mean CHEEEEAP.
£20 quid as its in his way with solenoid and wiring..
Used to live on a Soarer as far as i know.

Well than get it mate, for 20 quid you won't go wrong for an HKS unit, even if it's one of the very first units with only basic functions and no extra stuff. It will work as long as all parts are ok and nothing knackered.

MS-IBC £199.99 inc VAT- pretty good value. Closed loop function (which monitors and adjusts boost if necessary) is not found on many boost controllers even at considerably more money. Overboost function allows 'x' amount of seconds at a programmable higher boost. Presets, and many other useful functions.

New MS-2 £274.99 inc Vat

An upgrade on the MS-IBC. The boost controller is slightly better, more prestes etc. However there are two points of note-
1. Built in intelligent Turbo Timer. Algorithms extend the turbo timer settings if you have been hard at it, and reduce the settings if you have been tootling round.
2. The Gizzmo MS-2 also has a built in Fuel Cut Defencer!!
