i dont want to sound fatalistic (sp) but i have seen this problem a few times when one of the pistons has dropped a ring. doesnt mean this is the problem but its a possibility

pop the spark plugs out and check them for oil fouling, remembering which one came from where so you know which maybe the problem

I hope it's not a piston mate, it will be an epensive job. Do a compression test and get back for more info

when i ran it on fully syn mobil one it used to breathe a bit heavy and drink it so i opted for a slightly thicker semi syn and it didnt breathe as bad so i was just thinking if he has a bit off wear and his oil is past its sell bye date it would be the first and cheapest option i would take , taking his compression is pretty even on all cylinders and no plugs are fowling, has he got any back pressure coming up through dip stick?

i would double check and do a leak test. somtimes a compression test will not show any bad signs.

I´m not a specialist, but as far as I know 7bar compression is too low! Did compression tests on other skylines and had about 10bar (+/- 1bar). Don´t wanna worry you mate, just a thought. Sure someone will correct me if I´m wrong...?!

7 bar is way too low.
also, a compression test will not always show leaky rings.

I had about 10 bar compression on all 6, but had also done a leakdown test, that yielded 4,5%, 4,5%, 8%, 12%, 9% and 4,5% .

spraying oil out of the breather...
