Just recenctly recieved my motor from the land of the rising sun and couldnt resist taking it for a spin up the road.

When the revs got just past half way the engine seems to choke it looses power bit of spluttering then continues. It did this in every gear ( take into account i was only in 30mph road and only used 1, 2 3rd if i was lucky)

The car is still restricted as far as i know so, dont know if this would effect it!
Any info would be great, before i start splashing out cash to mechanics.

By "Land of the Rising Sun", are you referring to Japan, the country, or a tuning establishment? If it's the latter, it's an issue for you to take up with them buddy

Refering to japan hehe if i wasnt so freaked i would have recalled the company with that name before making the post lol

What fuel did you put in it? Mine was choking/misfiring or somthing in 1st after I switched from V Power to Tesco 99 :O

yep fuelling, the fuel in japan is over 100+ron,

From what I gather an ECU reset (battery off for 10 mins) will also help it adjust to the crap fuel we use
