How does it fit to the boot?

D used to have studs but i never wanted to drill the boot lid so can use 3m tape, good or
"Tiger seal" sikkaflex Better .....that wont move anywhere then, easy and job done once its cured, nice flat edges to stick down too

slide fittings for studs still intact and ok
