Finally got part number for the Filter in the gearbox ours is an Auto so not sure if same both manual and Auturs is a 1996 GTS-T, so again not sure if any change to boxes on different years.


Part number 3172841x02 this is the gearbox filter number.

Hi there, if you dont mind me asking, where did you order it from and how much did it cost,

P.S. I take it from the photo that you only have to remove the oil sump to gain access to this. Is this correct.

I got it from My Local Nissan Dealer.price was £22+VAT

No good asking me technical questions lol, i find out and tell my Mechanic.It might be worth asking davegtst as he send pic of actual box with the yellow ring around the filter..
