Thanks guys,

needed an O2 sensor for the stagea in a hurry, rings Chris, and it turns up next day!

I got on with fitting the sensor, and after much swearing to get the old one out, she runs much better, and fuel "economy" (if that word can be applied to an auto 2.5 turbo estate) almost doubled.

interestingly the old one was a three wire, (I'd missed the second white one) a bosch unit. rattled abit once i got it out so probably damaged.

anyways, shes running like a dream so thanks again, and the wee girl loved the sweetie!

Simon,

Glad we could help ; )

Nice to hear your fuel economy has risen- the Sensor should pay for itself in about a tankful then? Sounds like money well spent!

Regards

yes, we were getting no more than 140 to a tank, which is now 270. so its more than paid for itself, as i've done 650 miles this last weekend on the Christmas parcel runs! (santa's sleigh was in for repairs)
