I'm looking at getting a FMIC for my R33 GTS-T and was intrested to know apart from the name is there any diffrence between a Blitz ect and a Japspeed one ? Any opinions appreciated.

Yeah, the blitz is a fortune

I use the japspeed fmic and run 1.45 bar through it with no issues whatsoever

Blitz intercooler is tube and fin type, which is lighter and better (more efficient).

However, they a serious money, and the Japspeed one is still much better than the stock IC, so unless your producing serious power, go with the Japspeed one. (unless you can get your hands on a Blitz for cheap)

I have an R33 GTR OEM front mount intercooler with japanese made piping to suit the rb25det.

The OEM GTR intercooler is an excellent cooler and you can get one second hand for less than £100 so why look further unless you want more than 550bhp?

as has been said , if mine needed a new intercooler it would be oem GTR
great value for money and does a great job everytime
