i bought a set of Alpine components SPR-13S.....5.25 inch door speakers.....rms100.....peak 500...
can somebody recommend a suitable 2 channel amp to drive these...nothing too expensive but not crap either...

the front doors of the r33 gtst have got 6.5 inch components in,i wold look for a genesis stereo 100 or a profile4,you ideally want 100rms,but these can take 150rms setup right

I'd always recommend a higher power amplifier than the max rms power that the 'speakers can handle, however this does require setting up right (as above) plus an operator with sympathy and control!

Having said that, all system need setting up right, and you can blow tweeters even with a small amplifier if you're stupid, deaf and/or not careful lol

Cheers for the replies lads...what i actually bought was ALPINE spr-17s 6.5 inch components...peak 330 and rms 110....
will that amp u reccommended KOH for the 5.5 inch still do ???
