nissan fuel gauges are not the best. my dads little micra will read half full after you have been out in it, but the day after its under half :O mine also vary's depending if im going round a corner or not.

Yeah the gauges arent the greatest for accuracy. I find if i fill mine up it takes ages to move to about half a tank then from half till empty takes about 2 miles lol!!

The way I monitor my fuel is I get around 260 mile to a tank and just reset the spedo when I fill with petrol, I think due to the position of the fuel level sender it will vary due to the position the car is in, ie pointing uphill it may show more than pointing downhill. Generaly mines is accurate if im on level ground but when Im driving as the road conitions change so does the fuel level guage.
