i read on a canadian skyline forum that it is possible to use GM coil packs on the rb motors and in fact it is somewhat common .. is this true .. what make/ model is good

not someting ive heard of,we usualy go for splitfire uprated ones

I think you could be right about being able to use GM coil packs.
I remember reading something similar on "skylines australia" I believe
the Holden VL commodore uses an RB motor. Iirc..

Yep, that's where the RB30 blocks come from.
