What I think you want to know is

a series II engine has no igniter chip on the back and uses different coilpacks. other than that the motors are identical.

I have heard that series II uses a nylon compressor wheel but I don't know for sure.

i think they use different cams aswell but just for more reliability etc , not performance . also isnt the ecu map different ???
