Um , your translation software needs some work:crazy: butthe more thick the gasket is,the more compression!!
if you want to play safe boost 0.9 -1.1 better used 1.1mm or 1.2 mm
if 1.3 mm need ECU (Stand or Piggy) cos SAFC cant controlled it!!
eventhough can controlled cant stand long, leaking will occur
but MORE THICK MORE BOOST CAN APPLY!!
Just sharing my experience..if my info wrong theres someone who can correct it
different tuner diffrent knowledge![]()
Yup Gmans correct.Um , your translation software needs some work:crazy: but
The thicker the HG the LOWER the compression, so you can run more boost, and push back the onset of det. you will lose some power off boost though if you lower it too much.
You can use any head gasket you want, as long as it is bigger than the bore, Only If you tried to use an 87mm bore size hg with 88mm bores, would it fail in short order. It is recommended that your hg bore size be a bit bigger than the bore. The stock hg has 87mm bores, i measured it when I took my motor apart, my cometic 87mm is actually 87.5its not the thickness i am concerned about its the bore? standard is 86, ive got 88mm. would this be ok..
its not been compressed as yet though, my cometic 87mm is actually 87.5
Crap, I am having 87mm pistons go in, I hope it doesn't go past the edge.:alco:its not been compressed as yet though
