help me out r32 vertex or gtr replica which route to take???

as above my skyline is in need of a make over and over the next few weeks im hoping to get the ball rolling but cant decide which route to go

its a 93 white r32 rb20

as it sits it has a gtr front bumper not great nick which id be better replacing
also has gtr rear spoiler

so to go for vertex kit i was offered looks like this

which would go for lads???

first of all what are those cars doing on scaffolding in the first pic??? lol

I think vertex kit looks really lush mate especially in the yellow pics!!! and you have already got a offer for it cheap..........

maybe you should have a poll????

true its not a gtr but i do like the gtr look

was offered the vertex replica kit for 220euro for front and rear bumper and skirts what think??

just getting someone to spray and fit for decent price??

how do put a poll up??

that sounds very cheap! i would go for it! where abouts are you from i know a few good sprayers, i think you have to put the poll up when you start the thread....... its in the options in the bottom, not sure if you can add one now by editing your first post or not, short of that made you could ask one of the admin .

Not a fan of that Wide skirt stuff at the back....looks unfinished.

vertex take the cheap kit mate, its one of the best looking kits for the 32, and i have a guy who do the job for you at a decent price, actually i know 2 lads, but teh one who done mine comes highly recommended and he's cheap too

Not really a fan of vertex at all.
Ive never seen a 32 with a clean vertex kit and by that i mean, the bottoms of the skirts and bumpers are getting cracked and chipped in bits mainly because of the [email protected] roads.
You'll be forever repaining the damned things.

I like the Vertex side skirts, they look nice. Don´t like the bumpers though. Especially the rear bumper just looks big, unshaped and unfinished.

I very much like the GTR front bumper with N1 vents though, looks great.

im still not 100% sure but i do like the vertex and its different

with a good sprayer it may turno out decent and if strengthend properly

the gtr kit would cost a good bit to sdo and i wouldnt be doing the arches

any more opinions?

strangth isnt an issue with the lad who done mine, ive had the car sitting on the skirts before and they are moulded in with no issues.

Easy choice really vertex all the way
Ask yourself why would you want to make it look like a standard GTR when a it isnt 1 and 2 you can make it that little bit more unique.
As long as you get a decent spray job in a good colour it will look much better
Thats my humble opinion

thanks for the responses

im after getting a very good price from a lad who does top notch work

said he would

-spray front and rear bumper and skirts
-close a colour match as possible
-wet sand to remove orange peel
-respray passenger wing
-sort a small scrape over rear arch
-fit all the kit
-buff the whole car

for 500-550euro

what think?
